Abyss
This setup farms maps with Abyss Tablets, rarity-focused Waystones, and cleansed-area pathing. Unlike Breach, this Abyss version does not need Monster Effectiveness as a main Atlas choice. Use rarity, useful biome choice nodes, and Abyss-specific reward choices instead.
| Area | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Main goal | Farm Omen of Light, Omen of Abyssal Echoes, Ancient Desecrated Currency, Kulemak’s Invitation, and raw currency |
| Waystone plan | Craft rare Waystones for Item Rarity and Monster Rarity |
| Tablets | Three Abyss Tablets; four on City maps when the main Atlas tree supports an additional Tablet |
| Key Tablet modifiers | Increased Rarity of Items found in Map and increased chance for Abyssal monsters to have Abyssal Modifiers |
| Bonus Tablet modifier | Increased chance for Desecrated Currency from Abysses in Map |
| Atlas Master | Doryani |
| Key Atlas choices | The Journey Ahead set to rarity; Forest Mastery set to rare monsters; Abyss tree set to Amanamu and Abyss Omens |
| Best areas | Cleansed areas after the Nexus; Forest, Ezomyte City, Mountain, and Grass bonuses are secondary |
Abysses are moving monster encounters that can open pits and lead into Abyssal Depths. This farm is built around increasing reward quality from Abyss monsters and pushing the Abyss tree toward Omens and Desecrated Currency.
The ideal version runs Abyss in cleansed areas after defeating the Nexus in a corrupted area. Cleansed-area value is the main reason to choose the map; biome choices such as Forest, Ezomyte City, Mountain, and Grass are bonus layers when they overlap with a cleansed target.
Use on the map nodes you plan to run. Abyss Tablets add Abysses to affected maps and have 10 uses.
Prioritize corrupted areas you can cleanse and run efficiently. Forest, City, Mountain, and Grass areas are better when they line up with that plan, but the cleansed area matters more than the biome bonus.
Choose Doryani for this version of the farm. The recommended Doryani route is the top-left box cluster:
| Doryani point | Use in this setup |
|---|---|
| Evolutionary Pressure | Adds Item Rarity, Monster Effectiveness, and rare monster modifier chance per explicit modifier on the map. The Item Rarity line supports the Abyss reward plan. |
| Stitch the Flesh | Your maps have an additional Revival. This is the safety pick while learning or pushing expensive maps. |
| Disengaged Safeties | Map areas are Irradiated. Use it when your character can handle the added pressure. |
| Improved Calibration | Waystones have 25% more effect of Prefix Modifiers or Suffix Modifiers when opening maps. This makes strong rarity Waystones scale better. |
The main Atlas tree should support rarity, rare monsters, and extra Tablet coverage. Treat biome choice nodes as bonuses on top of cleansed areas, not as the reason to skip a better cleansed target. Do not set these choices to Monster Effectiveness for this Abyss setup.
| Main Atlas choice | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| The Journey Ahead | Select 10% increased Rarity of Items found. |
| Forest Mastery | Select 15% increased Rare Monsters in Forest Areas. Forest is one of the better biome targets for this setup. |
| History of the Ezomytes | Select Ezomyte Cities are also considered Grass Areas when using Ezomyte Cities for the four-Tablet setup. |
| Industrial Improvements | Use City maps for an optional fourth Tablet when the map is worth the extra investment. |
| Mountain Mastery | Mountain areas are usable when this is set to 6% increased Rarity of Items found in Mountain Areas. |
| Grass Mastery | Optional test value. The currency-upgrade options can be useful, but plain Grass areas are less compelling than Forests or strong City setups unless the upgrades prove worthwhile. |
On the Abyss Atlas tree, take the choices that improve Omens, Desecrated Currency, Abyssal Depths, and the Abyss faction target.
| Abyss tree choice | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Balance of Power | Select Abyssal monsters are loyal to Amanamu for this Omen-focused setup. |
| Vile Treasures | Select 50% increased chance to find Abyss Omens. |
| Rotting Bones | Take this for 25% increased chance to find Ancient Desecrated Currency. |
| Abyssal Ire | Useful when farming higher-level maps because it gives Abyssal Depths in level 78+ areas a chance to contain a boss. |
| Lord of the Pit | Abyss Pits are scattered throughout Areas with Abysses and Abysses have a 20% chance to contain an additional Abyss are both acceptable. Choose based on which layout feels better for the character. |
Use three Abyss Tablets for the baseline setup. On City maps, use a fourth Tablet when Industrial Improvements is active and the map is worth the extra investment.
| Priority | Modifier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Core prefix | (8—12)% increased Rarity of Items found in Map | Best Tablet prefix for the main version of the farm. |
| Budget prefix | Map has (15—20)% increased Monster Rarity | Swap to this when item rarity Tablets become too expensive. |
| Core suffix | (20—30)% increased chance for Abyssal monsters in Map to have Abyssal Modifiers | Main Abyss monster-value suffix. |
| Bonus suffix | (20—30)% increased chance for Desecrated Currency from Abysses in Map | Strong extra value when the Tablet price is reasonable. |
Avoid paying for Monster Effectiveness on Abyss Tablets for this setup. The farm is built around rarity, Abyssal Modifiers, Desecrated Currency, and Abyss Omens.
Craft the Waystone for Item Rarity and Monster Rarity. This can be expensive per map, but the rarity rolls are a major part of why the farm works. For the full crafting logic, see Waystones.
| Step | Currency | Action |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Upgrade the Waystone to rare. | |
| 2 | Add one modifier. | |
| 3 | Add a second modifier. | |
| 4 | Activate this before the Chaos Orb to block Pack Size. | |
| 5 | Activate this before the Chaos Orb to block Monster Effectiveness. | |
| 6 | Reroll while pushing toward Item Rarity and Monster Rarity. |
The target result is a strong rare Waystone with Item Rarity and Monster Rarity. If the final map is too dangerous for the character, save the Tablet setup for a cleaner Waystone instead of forcing a bricked map.
| Area | Benefit |
|---|---|
| Cleansed areas | Most important target after defeating the Nexus in the corrupted area. Run Abyss in cleansed maps first, then use biome bonuses to choose between similar targets. |
| Forest areas | Bonus layer when Forest Mastery is set to 15% increased Rare Monsters in Forest Areas. |
| Ezomyte Cities set to Grass | Strong bonus overlap when History of the Ezomytes makes Ezomyte Cities also count as Grass Areas. This combines City Tablet value with Grass currency-upgrade testing. |
| City maps | Bonus high-investment target because City maps can use a fourth Tablet with Industrial Improvements. |
| Mountain areas | Bonus option when Mountain Mastery is set to 6% increased Rarity of Items found in Mountain Areas. |
| Grass areas | Optional test bonus. Grass only adds currency-upgrade value here, so it may be good but should not outrank cleansed-area priority without testing. |
| Step | Action | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Path toward corrupted areas in Forest, City, Mountain, or other valuable target areas. | The goal is to cleanse useful maps, not to spend the setup on the first corrupted area available. |
| 2 | Defeat the Nexus in the corrupted area. | This unlocks the cleansed-area version of the farm. |
| 3 | Place three Abyss Tablets on the target maps. | Use a fourth Tablet on City maps when the map is worth it. |
| 4 | Craft a rarity Waystone. | Use the Alchemy, two Exalts, Omen of Chaotic Quantity, Omen of Chaotic Effectiveness, then Chaos Orb process. |
| 5 | Run the Abysses fully. | Clear the encounter, follow the Abyss path, and take Abyssal Depths when they appear. |
| 6 | Prioritize the Omen and Depths outcomes. | The main targets are Omen of Light, Omen of Abyssal Echoes, Ancient Desecrated Currency, and Kulemak’s Invitation. |
| Loot | Notes |
|---|---|
| Primary Omen target. | |
| Primary Omen target. | |
| Supported by Rotting Bones and the Desecrated Currency Tablet suffix. | |
| Raw currency | Scales with rarity Waystones, cleansed-area value, and Grass currency-upgrade options. |
| Valuable side drop from Abyssal Depths. |
The exact market value depends heavily on Omen, Desecrated Currency, Tablet, and Waystone-crafting prices. Check the market before buying item rarity Abyss Tablets in bulk; Monster Rarity Tablets are the fallback when item rarity gets too expensive.
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| Setting The Journey Ahead to Monster Effectiveness. | Use rarity on The Journey Ahead for this Abyss setup. |
| Buying expensive item rarity Tablets without checking alternatives. | Swap the Tablet prefix to Monster Rarity when the item rarity premium gets too high. |
| Spending the setup before cleansing a good target area. | Path toward useful corrupted areas first, defeat the Nexus, then run Abyss in the cleansed maps. |
| Ignoring City maps. | Use Cities for a fourth Tablet when Industrial Improvements is active and the map quality justifies the extra Tablet. |
| Treating profit as fixed. | Omen, invitation, currency, and Tablet prices can move quickly. Recheck the market before bulk buying. |
