Delirium

This setup farms Simulacrum Splinters from high-investment Delirium maps. It assumes the Delirium Atlas tree and the main Atlas tree are mostly or fully completed, because the farm leans on Grand Mirrors, Tablet scaling, City maps, and strong Waystones.

This is a high-risk farm. Delirium monsters become much harder as the fog deepens, Grand Mirror maps add more pressure, and Tier 16 maps raise the difficulty again. Use a character that can keep moving, kill bosses cleanly, and survive dangerous rare monsters inside Delirium Fog.

Delirium maps contain a Mirror of Delirium. Walk through the mirror to release Delirium Fog, then stay inside the fog while moving toward the map boss. The deeper you go, the more rewarding and more dangerous the map becomes.

The primary target is Simulacrum Splinters. They stack to 300, which creates a Simulacrum. Raw Divine Orbs, Liquid Emotions, Delirium uniques, and extra Waystones are useful side returns.

The strongest version of the strategy comes from Grand Mirrors. Defeating a map boss inside Delirium Fog has a chance to create a Grand Mirror on a nearby map. A Grand Mirror map is the main place to spend your best Tier 16 Waystones, because higher Waystone tiers tend to produce more splinters at the end of the Delirium.

Use Delirium Tablets on Precursor Towers so nearby maps gain a Mirror of Delirium. The Tablet itself adds a Mirror of Delirium to affected maps and has 10 uses.

Run regular Delirium maps to generate Grand Mirrors. When a Grand Mirror appears, swap to your best map setup for that node instead of spending it on a weak Waystone.

Choose Jado as the Atlas Master. These are the same Jado points used by the Tablets setup, because this farm also wants stronger Tablet scaling and extra map outcomes while you are mapping.

Allocate:

Jado pointEffect
Unexpected MissionsCorrupted Waystones open Maps with 1 additional random modifier, and corrupted Waystones open a random map area when used on Basic Maps.
Unforeseen ThreatsCompleting Maps has a 5% chance to reveal a nearby Anomaly Map.
Partial TranslationsRandomly gain between 0% and 40% increased effect of explicit modifiers on Tablets.
Ancient ActivationsPowerful Map Bosses have a 5% chance to add Ancient Modifiers to a nearby Map.

Fill out the Delirium tree for this farm. Most Delirium Atlas points are not real choices for this strategy; the goal is to have the tree completed so the Grand Mirror, Fracturing Mirror, shard, splinter, Simulacrum, and Grand Mirror Tablet-scaling nodes are all active.

The main Delirium choice node is Recurring Nightmares. Take the second option: Delirium Fog spreads to +4 Maps.

On the main Atlas tree, prioritize Tablet effect and City support:

Main Atlas choiceWhy it matters
Controlled ClimatesScales Tablet explicit modifiers for each Tablet affecting the map area.
Enigmatic IntensificationScales explicit Waystone modifiers for each Tablet affecting the map area.
Industrial ImprovementsAllows an additional Tablet on City maps.
City Biome: Tablet EffectFurther increases Tablet explicit modifier effect on City maps.

Use Delirium Tablets on every tower for this strategy. The goal is to blanket your target area in Delirium maps, then run the best Grand Mirror maps with as many useful Tablet effects as possible.

TabletPriority modifiersNotes
Delirium Tablet 1Increased stack size of Simulacrum Splinters and increased MirrorShardsCore splinter setup.
Delirium Tablet 2Increased stack size of Simulacrum Splinters and increased MirrorShardsDuplicate the best splinter modifiers when possible.
Delirium Tablet 3Increased stack size of Simulacrum Splinters and increased Fracturing MirrorsAdds the Fracturing Mirror angle while keeping splinter stack size.
Fourth Tablet on City mapsDelirium Tablet with useful Delirium suffixes or increased EffectivenessOnly available when Industrial Improvements lets City maps use an additional Tablet.

Use the remaining modifier slots for Monsters have increased Effectiveness when you can get it. Do not plan around increased Quantity of Waystones found in Map on these Tablets; it is also a suffix and competes with the Delirium suffixes that make the farm work. The shard Tablet modifier is currently displayed as MirrorShards, while the mechanic text calls the in-map objects Fracturing Mirror Shards. Delirium-specific MirrorShards, Fracturing Mirrors, and fog mods are suffixes, so check the item before buying or corrupting expensive Tablets.

Use Tier 16 Waystones on Grand Mirror maps when you can. Tier 15 maps are acceptable for regular Delirium maps used to generate Grand Mirrors, and they can be corrupted or uncorrupted depending on your supply and risk tolerance. For crafting setup, see Waystones.

Aim for 100%+ Waystone Drop Chance on the Waystone for side farming. This helps sustain mapping while you are chasing splinters and Grand Mirrors. If the map becomes too dangerous, lower the risk before lowering your clear speed; failed Delirium maps waste both the Tablet setup and the Grand Mirror chance.

Waystone targetChaotic Omen setupNote
Waystones Found + Monster EffectivenessOmen of Chaotic Quantity + one rarity blockerUse Omen of Chaotic Rarity to block Item Rarity or Omen of Chaotic Monsters to block Monster Rarity. Do not use Omen of Chaotic Effectiveness for this target.
BiomeWhy it matters
City mapsBest target when you can set them up, because Industrial Improvements allows an additional Tablet on City maps. Unlock City nodes before starting the expensive part of the farm.
Citadel pathingA practical way to find Cities is to look for Citadels on the Atlas. Citadels are marked by swirling beams and are always located in Cities. Clearing toward those areas lets the Grand Mirror fog reveal more City nodes, giving you better four-Tablet targets later.
StepActionNotes
1Reveal or path toward City maps.Do this before spending your best Waystones so Grand Mirrors can land on better four-Tablet targets.
2Run Tier 15+ Delirium maps.Enter the Delirium mirror immediately, keep moving toward the boss, and kill the map boss inside Delirium Fog to generate Grand Mirrors.
3Save your best setup for Grand Mirrors. When a Grand Mirror appears, use a strong Tier 16 Waystone with 100%+ Waystone Drop Chance if available.
4Clear mirror shard encounters. When mirror shard icons appear on the Delirium progress bar, move over them and kill the spawned encounter.
5Kill the bosses.Kill both the map boss and the Grand Mirror boss if the map has one.
6Collect and combine rewards. If Simulacrum Splinters do not drop after the boss dies, manually end the Delirium encounter with the two right-arrow button in the bottom right of the screen. Combine every 300 Simulacrum Splinters into a Simulacrum.
LootNotes
Simulacrum SplintersPrimary target. Stack 300 to create a Simulacrum.
SimulacrumsMain sale item or follow-up content. Check the market before committing to expensive Tablets.
Raw Divine OrbsPossible side return from heavily juiced maps. Treat raw Divine drops as upside, not guaranteed income.
WaystonesUse 100%+ Waystone Drop Chance on the Waystone itself when possible. Do not give up Delirium Tablet suffixes for Tablet Waystone quantity in this strategy.
Liquid EmotionsExtra Delirium value, especially if the market wants specific crafting emotions.

Before buying expensive Tablets, check the PoE Ninja fragments market for current Simulacrum prices. If Simulacrums are falling and Delirium Tablets are rising, the farm can become thin. In that case, consider switching to Tablets until the market improves.

Many players also pair Delirium with mechanics such as Breach or Abyss because Delirium Fog adds pressure and reward scaling to monsters from other mechanics. That can improve currency drops, but it also raises map difficulty and can slow the clear enough to lose Delirium value. Treat it as an advanced variant, not the baseline setup.

MistakeFix
Running the farm on a weak character. If you cannot stay in the fog and kill the boss, the setup is too expensive for the return.
Spending Grand Mirrors on low-tier or poorly rolled Waystones.Save Grand Mirrors for strong Tier 16 Waystones unless you are short on supply.
Ignoring mirror shard icons on the Delirium progress bar.Walk over the icons and clear the spawned encounters.
Leaving before checking the Delirium reward drop.Splinters may not drop immediately from the map boss; click the two right-arrow end-encounter button if needed.
Assuming the Simulacrum price is stable.Check prices before buying Tablets in bulk.
Overloading maps with extra mechanics too early.Add mechanics such as Breach or Abyss only after your character can clear Delirium quickly and safely.
Spending Tier 16 Waystones on regular Delirium maps when supply is tight.Save your best Tier 16 Waystones for Grand Mirrors and use Tier 15 maps for regular Delirium mapping.
